How to increase the adhesion of UV sandblasting stencils
We have come across the opinion that RAYZIST films do not stick. This opinion is due to first feeling the stencil and immediately dismissing the films without any testing or thinking about the benefits of RAYZIST Photomasks films.
RAYZIST films are used and preferred by many customers for these special features:
- They do not leave adhesive residues on products.
- They are easy to remove after sandblasting even without water.
- During application, you can repeatedly remove the templates from the product and correct their position.
- RAYZIST films can be applied without a transfer clear film and can be stretched over oval and curved products.
If you need to reactivate the stickiness of the sand stencils (this may occur with older, longer stored stencils), use one of the following procedures:
- Breathe on the masks to increase the moisture content of the matt side of the film.
- Press the masks harder onto the product with a plastic squeegee or roller.
- Simply wet the template as shown in the video above.
